Metro’s Quebec discount banner Super C is in expansion mode. It recently opened four stores and is set to open a fifth store on November 30. The fifth store will mark the banner’s 106th location in Quebec.

Super C opened its 102nd store on April 27, 2023, in the Limbour district of the Gatineau region. On September 28, it celebrated the opening of a new 36,000 sq ft store, an investment of $11,000 million, in Pont-Rouge, Que. On October 26, 2023, the 104th Super C opened in Saint-Apollinare. The new store is also 36,000 sq ft and Metro invested $11.5 million in the construction of it.

The most recent new store, marking the 105th location,  opened on November 16 in Coaticook, Que. The smaller 16,000 sq ft store was a $5.5 million investment.
